Experience & approach
Built for depth, structure, and real life.
Brenda works with high-functioning adults who are accustomed to managing life independently yet recognize that unresolved stress, trauma, or internal pressure still lingers.
Her past clinical experience includes intensive outpatient (IOP), residential, and clinical settings. In these roles, she worked with justice-involved individuals, veterans through the VA, people experiencing homelessness, and professional basketball players. This breadth of experience informs a thoughtful approach that respects each person’s circumstances, strengths, and goals.
Brenda also brings lived experience of carrying a heavy load while appearing to have everything together. She understands how much can remain unseen behind a capable exterior and offers a space where you can speak honestly, feel supported, and begin to set that weight down.
She holds two graduate degrees and is licensed in Texas as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and LPC-Associate. Her approach integrates psychotherapy, EMDR, somatic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
